Another trait that will be very helpful for you to develop is time management. This is important because you need to not only get your work done while you are at home, but you also have to get the housework done. Therefore, you need to set up a schedule and have a routine.

Being self-motivated is another trait that will really help you. Since you are working at home you don’t have anyone to hold you accountable and make sure you are getting things done. Therefore, you need to be able to motivate yourself and hold yourself accountable. Write lists, set goals, make charts, do whatever you have to do to make sure you stay on task.
If you can effectively manage your time and be self-disciplined and motivated enough to make sure you are getting your work done, then you will be successful in your work at home endeavors. If not, then you will surely fail. Therefore, do what you need to do to make sure you are getting your work done.
